jQuery and Interactive Web Pages

This week I used jQuery to create a game of Tic Tac Toe on my web page. I have to admit that I had tons of fun doing this! I always thought that those cool little games that people put on their site or you search for online just to pass the time were really cool and very addicting. I had wondered what went into making a quick and simple game like that. Well, I have my answer! I think most of these people were using jQuery to create them. I was amazed at how easy it was to put together, once I watched the videos of course! But, I had a blast creating the game and playing it. A few of my co-workers did as well as I got them to play and they soon became addicted! I also noticed that and was a little surprised that the coding structure of jQuery was very similar to what I was doing in my C-Programming so it was very easy to understand what was going on in the program and how each command related to another. So, to sum it up, ten weeks went by way too fast and I learned a lot more than I ever imagined. This class left me pleasantly surprised and I'm very excited that I can now use this knowledge in work. I have already made some changes to a few of our websites in work and the reviews have been great so far! I look forward to doing a lot more and getting more experience with this. I would like to wish everyone best of luck in the future and it was great to work and connect with all of you. Hopefully, our paths will cross again!
